Since 1928, when our founder began producing fine books in the basement of his home in Larchmont, New York, Peter Pauper Press has been committed to producing gifts and stationery that are both beautiful and affordable.
Peter Beilenson—and later, his wife Edna Beilenson—sought to create books that sold at “prices even a pauper could afford.” Peter and Edna might be tickled to learn their original letterpress volumes are now sought-after collectibles.
With third-generation Beilensons at the helm of Peter Pauper Press in White Plains, New York, we continue to honor our founders’ legacy—and our customers’ expectations—of beauty, quality, and value.
